As a rule the degradation and degeneration of the American Army organization affects the individual life of the troops. The main function of the American Special Service Division is to provide the GI’s with obscene and sexy magazines and papers and fantasy story books. Among the belongings of the American POW’s are nude snapshots, lewd pictures, and prophylactic rubbers. The prophylactic kit is a legal army supply item for the American soldiers. According to (name given—Ed.), when the troops were stationed in Japan, the majority of the officers and men frequented the brothels from five to seven times a week, thus weakening their bodies and directly reducing their fighting spirit.

(DAILY REPORT. FOREIGN RADIO BROADCASTS (FBIS-FRB-51-100), S. 2, 11.5.1951)
